When I was a kid, I always thought the water at the house of my Grandma was poisoned. Turns out I was not that far off, since she had well water. It was not until recently, though, that she finally got well water sediment filters, which have significantly increased the quality of her water, and her life, if you ask me.
I had no idea that a sediment filter for well water could be so cheap either. One would naturally think that these are a bit more involved than, say, a Brita filter, which they are. But these well water sediment filters are really quite affordable.
When shopping for one, be sure that you get yourself the right kind. There is a difference between a pleated sediment filter and a string wound sediment filter, and that difference could cause you trouble in the long run.
Well water sediment filters helped my Grandma take care of the odor problem that she had, which really helped increase the quality of her life, I think. If you have well water, and suffer from some of its less than desirable attributes, then you should consider getting well water sediment filters.
